Yumei DONG  under-graduated from the School of Mechanical  and Engineering, Xiangtan University , majoring in industrial design. Then she joined DESIS Lab, Jiangnan University to start her master study on Service Design and Social Innovation under the supervision of Prof. Miaosen GONG. Being a assistant of DESIS Lab, she was invited to attend the conference and workshop named Design for Change on Social Innovation. She received her PhD from Tongji University, with her main research interests in inclusive design, design for aging and innovation in design research methods, and is currently teaching at the School of Design, Jiangnan University.
