YUAN Shu

Shu under-graduated from the School of Mechanical Science and Engineering, Huazhong University of Science and Technology, majoring in industrial design. In the fourth year of her undergraduate study, she won the Braun Prize China and was invited to participate in the award ceremony held in Kronberg, Germany. Then she joined Prof. Yin Zhengsheng Studio to start her master study, during which period she gained lots of practices and experiences in Signage System Design and City Color Planning Design. As an exchange student, she studied in the Offenbach University of Art and Design for half a year. Her final cross-cultural project was published in a German newspaper. Now she is a doctoral student in Tongji University, being interested in inclusive design, co-design and the empathic relations between designers and users.
