You Fangzhou majored in industrial design and obtained her Bachelor of Arts from School of Design, East China Normal University. During this period, she also took Applied Psychology as her minor at School of Cognitive Psychology and Science, doing research on emotional design and consumer behavior. She got the master’s degree in 2019, specialising in Interaction Design at College of Design and Innovation, Tongji University. At present,  she is studying for a doctor’s degree at Loughborough University in England.
